He was an All American runner at UMass Lowell and is currently finishing up his MBA. Ruben is coming out to Colorado on June 1st and is looking for a place to stay for 4-6 weeks.     Coach Jay Johnson ran for the University of Colorado and was the sixth man on the cross country team the year Adam Goucher won the national championship, the same year (1998) the team was featured in Running with the Buffaloes. He has an MS from CU in Kinesiology and Physiology.

    There are a lot of fast couples in Colorado, and Mike and Nicole Aish have to be in the discussion when talking about prominent running couples in Colorado. They met at Western State College and currently reside in Arvada, CO. When they're not training you can find them at the Boulder Running Company-Tech Center.

    Nicole ran XC and track for Arvada West High School and then took her speed to Western State College, where she was a four-time All American. In 2005 she made her marathon debut winning the Twin Cities Marathon in 2:40:21.

    Mike Aish hails from New Zealand, won multiple national titles and was a four-time All American at Western State College and competed in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics for New Zealand. This past fall he made it official and became a USA citizen.

    Kelsey Lakowske is a senior at Boulder High School where she was a two time Colorado state champion in XC and finished 4th at the Foot Locker Cross Country Championships in 2010. She had surgery in May for bone fragments embedded in her ligaments and ran in only four cross country meets before the Colorado State Meet. She recently announced that she is taking her talents to Durham, NC where she will run for the Duke Blue Devils.

    Noelle Green of Erie, CO is one of the top women masters runners in Colorado. She is a former Olympic Trials qualifier, still breaks 19 minutes in the 5k and earlier this year she won the Boulder Distance Carnival 15k, taking home $300 for the win. Noelle is a constant face at Colorado races and can still battle the ladies 10 to 20 years her junior.

    You know you're big time when you have your own Wikipedia page and Lee Troop has his own Wikipedia page. Australian Lee Troop is a three time Olympian who resides in Boulder, Colorado. The Troop's currently have a four year old daughter and his wife Freyja is expecting twin boys in the next few weeks. In September, Lee was treated for a blood clot, thus the past few months have been a hectic time for the Troop family and we wish them the best.
