Kenyon Neuman (24, Boulder) – Competed for the University of Colorado, graduating in 2010. At CU, he helped the Buffs to win their first Big 12 track championship, earned multiple All-American and Big 12 awards, and ran as fast as 13:41 for 5000M and 29:25 for 10000M. He recently won the Pearl Street Mile in 4:15 and finished fourth at the Heart & Sole half marathon in 1:08. Sponsored by Newton Running and a member of Team Alchemy while training for an Olympic trials marathon qualifying attempt.
Justin Ricks (31, Pueblo West) – Twice a 2:22 marathoner, Ricks won the Eugene Marathon in April 2011. He also ran 2:22 at the Cal International Marathon in December. Locally, he was 7th in 30:51 at the Colorado Springs Classic 10K, second at the Colorado Springs Summer Round-up Trail Run 12K, second at the Boulder Spring Half Marathon in 1:09:36, and fourth at the Evergreen Town Race in 30:33.
Master’s Men
Johannes Rudolph (46, Boulder) – 1st at 2007 Boulder Marathon (2:54), 1st at 2007 Estes Park Marathon, 2nd at 2008 Boulder Marathon (2:45), 1st at 2008 Estes Park Marathon, 1st at 2009 Boulder Marathon (2:52), 1st at 2009 Estes Park Marathon, 3rd at 2010 Boulder Marathon (2:52). Ran 2:33 at 2009 Napa Valley Marathon.
Robert Sweeney (44, Louisville) – Six-time member of US 100K team, past member of US 24-hour team, past 100-mile and 24-hour national champion. Marathon PR of 2:30, master’s marathon PR of 2:38 at Yonkers Marathon (2007).
Robert Weiner (46, Evergreen) – 2:29 at 2011 Boston Marathon, 2:29 at 2010 Twin Cities Marathon, 2:27 at 2009 Twin Cities Marathon. Master’s winner at USATF Colorado state 10K and half marathon championships. Sponsored by Newton Running and a member of Team Alchemy.
Open Women
Kara Henry (26, Boulder) – Competed at Butler University and the University of New Mexico. First-place at the 2010 Quad Dipsea race, 1st place at the 2010 Rose Bowl 5K in 16:51. Sponsored by Newton Running and a member of Team Alchemy.
Master’s Women
Lisa Goldsmith (46, Nederland) – 3rd place at the 2011 Pikes Peak Ascent, runner-up at the Pikes Peak Ascent in 2008 and 2007, winner in 2006 and 2005. First-place at the 2008 Colfax Marathon.
Karen Kantor (41, Morrison) - Former Olympic trials qualifier in the 1500M and former member of the All-Army team. 3:09 at the 2011 Illinois Marathon (1st master), 2nd master at the 2011 Stadium Stampede 5K, and 3rd master at the Evergreen Town Race 10K.
