Adding to the excitement, the race will offer chip timing and separate men’s and women’s cut technical shirts. The day before the race, legendary Adams State coach Joe Vigil will lead a seminar. Elite runners will compete for a share of the $2,500 prize purse. And at just $17 for USATF Colorado members, the race is a huge bargain.
Prize money will go five-deep for open men and women and one-deep for master’s men and women. The money will be split:
1 - $400
2 - $250
3 - $200
4 - $150
5 - $100
1st Master - $150
Masters are not allowed to double up on prize money. As in 2011, prize money is limited to USATF Colorado members, Colorado residents, and U.S. citizens. Annual USATF memberships can be purchased here for $30.
Spring Runoff 10-mile registration for USATF Colorado members is just $17 when using the discount code “USATFP.” Please note that this discount is limited to current USATF Colorado members. Registration for non-USATF Colorado members is currently $20. Online registration is available here. Registration increases to $25 on February 17th and to $35 on race day.
