• Tenorio, Dita, and Suszek In Action, and Other Colorado Race Results from 1/28/12-1/29/12

Looking further out, Colorado's Franklin Tenorio and Michele Suszek headed to the Miami Half, while Longmont's Constantina Dita raced in Japan. Here's the quick run-down of the rest of the weekend's highlights.

    Osaka Women's Marathon

Beijing Olympic gold medallist Constantina Dita (Longmont) ran 2:40 to finish just outside the top-10.

US Open Indoor Track - New York

CU alum Sara Vaughn took second in the mile, running 4:37.

Air Force Invitational Indoor Track - Colorado Springs

The meet appears to be absent any non-collegiates, but a few performances caught my eye.

CU freshman Connor Winter ran 1:56:49 to finish sixth in the 800M, while fellow CU freshman Hugh Dowdy was sixth in the mile in 4:22:81.

CU senior Martin Medina won the 3000M in 8:53:95. The women's 3000M went to CU sophomore Jana Stolting in 10:27:53.

    Miami Half Marathon

Boulder master Franklin Tenorio, a former Olympian for Ecuador, was third in 1:09:38. In the women's race, Michele Suszek ran 1:21:29 for third, just two weeks after the Olympic trials marathon.
