The sixth annual Golden Gallop will take place on Sunday, Nov. 6th. The Gallop features a 5K, 10K, and a kids fun run with proceeds going to the Golden Schools Foundation. Runners and walkers are both welcome on the USATF certified 5K and 10K courses. Both race courses wind through Golden on a mix of bike paths and residential streets with near constant mountain views. Faster runners can compete for prize money and age group winners can earn a Golden Gallop pint glass. Everyone will be eligible for a ton of great post-race raffle prizes and all runners will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt in women's and men's sizes.
The race guarantees something for everyone with a Western-themed bouncy house and a professional face painter for the kids. Adults can indulge in free beer provided courtesy of Avery Brewing.
