Slim pickin' on the results front this weekend, but four athletes with Colorado ties competed in Scotland and deserve recognition for their international efforts.
BUPA Great Edinburgh Cross Country - Scotland
Adrienne Herzog, a Boulder-based Dutch citizen coached by Brad Hudson, scored a second-place 20:56 finish in the women's 6k race. Herzog, the 2012 European cross country bronze medalist, was just sixteen seconds back of race winner Fionnuala Britton of Ireland. r. Mattie Suver of Colorado Springs led the U.S. team with a third-place 21:00. Suver is sponsored by the Boulder Running Company as part of the Scott Simmons-coached American Distance Project. Late last year she won the U.S. club cross country championships. Fort Collins' Brianne Nelson was 11th in 21:14. Addie Bracy, another Hudson-coached runner out of Boulder, was 16th in 21:33.
Snow Mountain Ranch Classic (Nordic) 15k - Granby
Tyler Scholl, the 12-year-old phenom from Kremmling, was eighth in 55:17. Fleet Feet Boulder's Chris Grauch was 15th in 57:48. Nielson 2-mile Challenge - Colorado Springs

Running as a pace group leader, Boulder's Tony Stafford was the top Colorado finisher in 3:03.
