Devil Dash will have participants jumping through fire, crawling through mud pits, climbing over cargo nets, crossing rivers and working their way through additional grueling deadly sin themed obstacles. The first wave of the race will begin at 9am, followed by waves of racers taking off to tackle the course every half hour until the last group.
Participants are encouraged to suit up in their best Devil and Angel attire and are crowned with shiny Devil wigs prior to racing. In addition to the race itself, participants receive a Devil Dash "The Devil Made Me Do It" T-shirt, a red devil wig, a finishers souvenir to don every day after the race, free water, a postrace snack and a micro-brew beer for those older than 21 in the Beer Garden of Eden served by Angels. Beer from local breweries and Devil grub will be available for purchase post race in the Beer Garden of Eden. Spectators are welcome to enjoy the live music playing throughout the day, watch the Devils tackle several obstacles near the finish line and participate in other activities on site. A portion of the proceeds from this event benefit First Descents, a nonprofit organization that provides young adults battling cancer with amazing outdoor adventures.
