Sunday, Sunday, Sunday - The 2nd USATF CO Championship of 2012 will bring some of the top runners in Colorado to battle it out over five miles on the famous backroads of Boulder. RunColo has the inside scoop on who will be there, so let's check out the starting line-up:

Men:

Trent Briney (33, Boulder) - Trent was a 4-Time NCAA Division II All-American. In 2010 he ran 1:04:55 at ½ Marathon in Houston and holds 13:55 at 5k PR and 28:44 for 10k

Charles Hillig (25, Denver) – Competed for the University of Northern Colorado collegiately. Charles ran 14:37 for 5000M on the track at the USATF Mid-America

Matt Levassiur (30, Alamosa) -11-Time NCAA II All-American (Adams State) , his PR’s includes : 13:52 at 5k; 28:53 at 10k and 1:04:46 at the ½ Marathon

Adam Rich (31, Colorado Springs) – Sponsored by Boulder Running Company /adidas. In 2011 he was the USATF State Champion at the 5k in 15:29

Robert Weiner (47, Evergreen) - He was 1st master at 2011 USATF Colorado 10K & ½ Marathon championships, 1st master at 2012 USATF Colorado 10 Miler Championships.

Clint Wells (36, Louisville) - Clint is a four-time All-American in cross country and track for CU. In 2012 he was the winner of the Quicker Quaker 5k in 15:24 & Canyonlands 5 miler in 25:45

Tyler McCandless (25, Boulder) - Penn State alum currently sponsored by Mizuno. He ran a 2:15 at the 2011 Grandma’s Marathon, 1st at 2012 Iwaki City Marathon (Japan).

Sean Quigley (27, Boulder) - US 20k Champion in 2010. He was the winner at Turkey Trot 4 mile in 18:56. 2012 - 16th at US Marathon trials 2:14:12

Jason Hartmann (31, Boulder)- Six time All American at University of Oregon. Top American at the Chicago Marathon in 2:11.06.

James Johnson (43, Boulder) - 2011 USATF Colorado 5k Master Champion & runner-up in 10k & ½ Marathon. Top 10 at USATF National XC races 2009 & 2011.

Women

Stephanie Bylander (28, Alamosa) – She was a 10-time NCAA Division II All-American. 4 Time-Team USA Participant ran 5k – 16:40 and ½ marathon 1:16:15

Brooke Kish (36, Evergreen) – This is her first USATF CO Championship. ” It seems good to get back into running again after having twins”. In 2008 she ran a 5k in 16:05.

Christie Foster (24, Colorado Springs) - 17:11 5K best, 3rd at 2011 USATF Colorado half marathon championships.

Brianne Nelson (31, Fort Collins) - Mom of 2 girls was the 2011 USATF CO ½ marathon Champion. Her best is 1:14:36 at ½ Marathon & just ran 52:50 at 15K Nationals.

Nuta Olaru (41, Longmont) –a 2:24 marathoner and she also ran: 1:08:59 at ½ Marathon and holds a PR 52:01 at Cherry Blossom 10 Mile. This will be her first USATF Championship as USA Citizen. Recently won the Runnin' of the Green 7k.

Alison Steele (31, Longmont) – was the winner of Canyonlands 5 miler early this month in Moab.

Joanna Zeiger (41, Boulder) - Accomplished triathlete just ran her sixth U.S Olympic trials. In Feb she was the Master Champion at USA Cross Country Championships
