RunColo has ruined quite a few PRs in the last few years by pointing out courses that were incorrectly setup and short in distance, and unfortunately we've done it again. The 2013 Colfax Half Marathon was 12.99 miles, which made it .11 miles short.

This morning a fellow runner sent me the email below, from the race director. I personally know how hard it is to setup a race course and mistakes do happen, big thanks to the Colfax Marathon for acknowledging this error and correcting it for the 5,164 finishers who ran the race.

The High Plains Fun Run in Englewood is serving up a timed 5K and a 1m race this Saturday. Check out their Facebook page for a great list of prizes that they will be giving away. Last year the 5K was won by Greg Reindl and Morley Wittenberg, the race had 128 finishers in their inaugural year. The one mile race had 121 finishers, great event for the kids!
