    Wow, I haven't updated the blog in a while. Work dominated me the last few months, then took a trip to Lake Powell and was in Aspen for work and the next thing I know I had run twice in the two weeks prior. I feel like I am motivated now and ready ...

    * Two lackluster weeks of training, but work got the better of me.
    * Got the win at the Excel-erator 5k. Had to battle a 16 year old high school XC runner from Ralston Valley for the win. I figured he would go out hard and I might be able to catch him ...

    * First time cracking 70 miles since Philly Marathon.
    * Enjoying getting on the track and hammering out some intervals. Something that has been missing from my training the last few years, interested to see if it pays off.

    Starting to get into shape, I think.
    * I hadn't done a solid track workout in a long time, felt good. I've always enjoyed intervals, to me they are a lot easier than a tempo run which I consider the toughest workout.
