600+ miles on the Nike Katana Racers. A great shoe, of course they stopped making them last year. At around 500 miles they developed a tear and then another tear. For whatever reason I land towards my pinkie on my left foot, I guess that would be supination. I was going to see how many miles I could get out of them before they completely fell apart, but I imagined a scenario where I was eight miles from home and the shoe was completely destroyed and I had to walk back home with one shoe on.

Racing shoes don't last a long time, however 600+ miles on a shoe that weighs less than six ounces is a solid ROI, around ten cents per mile.
