    * Took eight days off after the marathon.
    * Easy week this past week, legs feel good though.
    * Doubt that I will do any races in July, not really seeing anything that fits into my schedule.

  2. Nike Katana Racers

    600+ miles on the Nike Katana Racers. A great shoe, of course they stopped making them last year. At around 500 miles they developed a tear and then another tear. For whatever reason I land towards my pinkie on my left foot, I guess that would be supination.   3. San Diego Marathon Race Report 2010

    I know, long overdue.


    Arrived in San Diego on Saturday around 11am and picked up my rental car, a PT Cruiser. The PT Cruiser is one of the worst cars on the road; I asked them if they had anything else in whatever category I rented, but no luck. He made a joke that everyone hates the PT Cruiser, crazy how popular they were when they first came out and people were put on waiting lists to purchase one.

    The McMillan Calculator had me running a 36:12 10k, which seemed hard for me to comprehend, especially since my 10k PR is 37:29 which was run last year in Longmont on a much easier/faster course. I knew a PR was a given and the race temperature of 50 degrees was ideal.

    Mile Splits:

    1 = 5:57 (should have gone out faster)
    2 = 5:56
    3 = 6:01
    4 = 5:57
    5 = 5:29
    6 = 5:39
